Video: The Journey of the Soul | Week 3 - After Life

In this final session of the study we explore the insights into what happens to the soul after life on Earth. While many focus on the dichotomies of heaven and hell - the tradition has more to share with us that is inspiring and hopeful.

Watch the whole series, or start with week 3, below.

Topics covered:

  • Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) NDEs are becoming more common, with consistent patterns reported by people from various cultures and eras. Some NDEs are seen as a "milestone" or "checkpoint" in a soul's program to re-evaluate priorities.
  • The 10 Steps of a Near-Death Experience (12:00):
    1. Becoming Aware of Death
    2. Peace and Tranquility
    3. Sounds and Sights
    4. Guf Dak (Ethereal or Energy Body):
The soul is said to inhabit an energy field, which can be influenced by emotions and thoughts. Some individuals might experience disorientation or confusion as their soul enters the liminal space called Olam Hadimyon.
    5. Traveling Through a Tunnel:
Many share the experience of moving through an interdimensional tunnel, from physicality to the world of souls.
    6. Encountering Loved Ones and Guides:
Meeting deceased family members, friends, or spiritual guides, providing comfort and confirmation that they are not alone.
    7. Sensing the Light:
Many share the feeling of love, acceptance, and a world of thought as they begin to realize they're no longer in the physical world.
    8. Panoramic Life Review:
Reviewing one's life from a third-person perspective, experiencing the impact of their actions on others, and understanding both wins and mistakes. This can be a form of atonement and a powerful catalyst for change.
    9. Beyond Time:
It is a common realization that time and space operate differently in the spiritual realm, often experienced as seconds on Earth feeling like years in the soul's reality.
    10. Returning to Life
  • After Life - The Soul Passing On:
The soul fully transitions to the "World of Souls," also known as Gan Eden or paradise. This is not the final destination, as souls continue to grow and elevate. Some souls may need time to decompress, purify, and heal, which can take the equivalent of months or years.
  • Connecting with Loved Ones:
Souls that have passed can still connect with the living through dreams, memories, or even signs in the physical world (like animals).
